My name is Dr. Escoto, and I’m looking forward to a great collaboration with each of you. I have twenty-five years of experience in international education, bringing an in-depth understanding of administration, teaching, and learning. My growing desire to better understand facets of impacting the learning and teaching process led to earning a Doctorate Degree. I hold a Doctorate in Leadership and Curriculum and Instructions, a master’s in Leadership and Curriculum and Instructions, Bachelor in Elementary Education, Business, Music, Reading, Gifted, and ESOL endorsement.

My experience in adult education consists of secondary language support in Sweden and online teaching at Grand Canyon University in the US. I had the privilege of participating in international projects that evaluated the curriculum and established alternative assessment guidelines. I am fluent in five languages. My experience includes International Baccalaureate, private, charter, public, and virtual settings. I am an honorary member of Kappa Delta Pi (KDP), the International Honor Society in Education, which strives to promote excellence in education.

I am married and have an adult daughter and a teenage son. As a family, we love to travel, have family reading evenings, do yoga, and spend time with our baby, an adorable Shih Tzu, Mimi. My international family lives worldwide; therefore, family travel is always a priority.

I am from Sweden and currently live in Miami, Florida. Every winter, my family travels to the mountains to ski. Great to have warm weather year-round, but I genuinely miss seasons. I appreciate every experience in my life, as it is an opportunity to discover something new.
