Bachelor Degree in Media

The Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies program at Windsor University is designed to prepare students for careers in the media industry, as well as for advanced study in media-related fields. Through a combination of theoretical coursework, hands-on production experiences, and critical analysis, students will develop a deep understanding of the media landscape and the various roles that media plays in society.

The program will cover a range of topics including media theory, media ethics, media law, media history, media production, and digital media. Students will also have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as film, television, journalism, advertising, public relations, and digital media.

The online format of the program will allow students to complete coursework from anywhere in the world, with the flexibility to balance their studies with other commitments. The program will be delivered through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning, with access to interactive lectures, virtual discussions, and online resources.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be prepared for a variety of careers in the media industry, including roles in journalism, television production, film production, advertising, public relations, and digital media. Graduates will also be well-prepared for advanced study in media-related fields, including media studies, communication studies, and film studies.

Learning Delivery Mode

  • Our program offers a unique learning delivery model that combines online and recorded content to provide students with a flexible and accessible learning experience. With 1/3 of the program delivered online and 2/3 recorded, students can access course materials and lectures at their own pace and on their own schedule, while still benefiting from the guidance and support of our expert faculty. This approach allows students to balance their academic studies with their other commitments and obligations, and to customize their learning experience to suit their individual needs and goals.
