Victor S. Sohmen, Ph.D., Ed.D., MBA, is a widely traveled professional as a former foreign-going ship captain and a versatile educator, speaker, editor, and author. Dr. Sohmen is a 1995 recipient of the Canadian Governor-General’s Gold Medal for Academic Excellence. His Ph.D. in Management is from The University of Queensland in Australia, his Ed.D. in Higher Educational Leadership is from Drexel University in Philadelphia, USA, and his MBA in Project Management is from The University of Calgary, Calgary, Canada. He has been an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), International Project Management Association (IPMA), American Educational Research Association (AERA), International Leadership Association (ILA), and Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE). Dr. Sohmen is a Canadian citizen and US resident in Philadelphia, PA, where he lives with his family.
