- About the Opportunity: Windsor University USA, a hybrid institution located in Washington, DC, is seeking to hire a Student Affairs Officer for its Cairo, Egypt (Nasr City) office. We are looking for a motivated individual holding a Master’s degree with strong admission skills, excellent communication and soft skills, and the ability to solve problems effectively to maintain high student satisfaction.
- Job Description: The Student Affairs Officer (also known as a Student Affairs Specialist or Administrator) plays a critical role in supporting and advising students on a range of academic, career, and personal issues, while fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and advise students on academic matters, including course registration, graduation requirements, and university policies.
- Assist students with career planning, personal counseling, and addressing any challenges they face.
- Refer students to appropriate Program resources when additional support is needed.
- Plan, organize, and promote student activities, events, and programs.
- Collaborate with student groups and organizations to enhance campus engagement.
- Develop strategies to enrich student life and the overall student experience.
- Maintain strong working relationships with faculty, staff, and departments to support student success.
- Communicate effectively with students and external stakeholders.
- Represent Windsor University at functions and events.
- Ensure compliance with institutional, local, state, and federal policies.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for student affairs.
- Oversee student concerns and complaints, working toward positive resolutions.
- Support recruitment and retention initiatives.
- Develop and implement new programs and services to meet student needs.
- Evaluate existing programs and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Admission and enrollment management skills are a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset with a student-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
