Program Highlights:

The Master of Science in Information Studies (MSIS) is designed to prepare individuals for advanced and executive-level roles in technical fields such as enterprise data and information management, cyber-infrastructure, cloud and web technologies, and complex information systems. As modern technologies continue to transform the way people live and work, this program fosters the development of expertise needed to drive digital transformation in organizations and maximize business value through various technological solutions. The MSIS equips students with the skills to lead and manage IT operations, projects, and enterprise-level initiatives in areas including network management, database administration, application development, web services, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud-based information systems.

Program Learning Outcomes:

  • Analyze complex technology concepts, architectures, and tools to address the challenges posed by rapid technological advancements and to resolve modern business needs through digital transformation strategies.
  • Cultivate leadership abilities in IT strategy, decision-making, project management, and operational oversight.
  • Utilize advanced technical skills to design, implement, and manage enterprise information systems within a global business environment.
  • Assess information systems to integrate ethical considerations, organizational values, and effective policies that align with mission and strategic goals.

Program Duration

The academic year consists of three semesters: Fall (divided into two eight-week terms), Spring (divided into two eight-week terms), and Summer (a single eight-week term).

Admission Requirements

If you are a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or an international student studying remotely from your home country, and have already earned a bachelor’s degree, you may be eligible to pursue a master’s degree. To apply, the following materials must be submitted:

  • A completed application form.
  • Official transcripts from ALL previously attended post-secondary institutions.
  • A well-crafted essay explaining your motivation for pursuing graduate studies, your future career goals, and how you plan to succeed in graduate school.
  • A current resume highlighting your academic and professional background.
  • GRE/GMAT: Graduates from regionally accredited colleges or universities are exempt from the GRE/GMAT requirement. However, those who graduated from nationally accredited institutions must complete the entrance exam.
  • English Proficiency Requirement:

Tuition Fees

  • Initial Application Fees: $105.
