Organizational Leadership Course
Course Description:
This course focuses on leadership skills applicable to a business, government, non-profit, or academic setting. This course includes instruction in structure designing, leadership dynamics, finance, team building, conflict resolution and mediation, communication, and alternative management skills.
Course Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of the Organizational Leadership course, the student will be able to:
- Critically evaluate leadership theories and practices and their application across business, government, non-profit, and academic organizations.
- Design and justify organizational structures and leadership systems that align with strategic and operational objectives.
- Integrate financial principles into leadership decision-making, including budgeting, performance evaluation, and resource optimization.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams through advanced motivation, collaboration, and talent management strategies.
- Apply conflict resolution and mediation frameworks to effectively manage organizational disputes and change initiatives.
