Entrepreneurship Course

Course Description:

Our Entrepreneurship course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the world of business ownership and management. Students will explore the development, marketing, and management functions essential for running a successful business. Through inquiry-based learning and practical tools, students will learn to analyze, create, and pilot small businesses within a supportive campus environment.

The curriculum emphasizes three core principles: the art, science, and process of entrepreneurship. Students will learn to turn their entrepreneurial ventures into successes, applying scientific principles and structured processes to their business endeavors. With a focus on real-world applications, students will step into the roles of financial analysts, marketers, and business owners, developing critical thinking skills essential for navigating the dynamic business landscape.

Throughout the course, students will have hands-on experiences, reinforcing their understanding of key concepts and skills. By the end of the course, students will have crafted their own business plans, prepared to take on the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship with confidence and competence.

Course Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of the Entrepreneurship course, the student will be able to:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive business plan for a new venture.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and viability of business ideas and opportunities.
  • Utilize various methods for funding a business, including venture capital, crowdfunding, and bootstrapping.
  • Analyze and assess the market demand for products and services, as well as the competitive landscape.
  • Develop strategies for marketing, sales, and customer acquisition.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership and decision-making skills necessary for entrepreneurial success.
  • Apply innovative thinking and problem-solving techniques to overcome challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
