Course Description:

In our Accounting and Finance course, students embark on a journey through the essential principles and practical applications of accounting and finance.

We begin by exploring the fundamental “why” behind financial accounting, helping students understand how accounting information drives real-world business decisions. Through engaging materials and real-life examples, students experience those enlightening “Aha!” moments, guided by instructors with diverse backgrounds across various fields.

Our course is structured around key frameworks for measurement, communication, and decision-making, laying a strong foundation for student learning. With a flexible approach, instructors can customize the course content to meet the needs of their students, covering basic concepts and expanding into more advanced topics as necessary.

In the Financial Accounting segment, students dive into the financials of numerous companies, analyzing case studies from various industries to grasp practical applications. We emphasize intuitive understanding, unified valuation approaches, and a focus on managerial decision-making skills.

Moving on to Corporate Finance, students explore vital concepts in business finance in a relaxed, conversational manner. Through an emphasis on intuition, unified valuation, and managerial focus, students gain deeper insights into financial management principles and their real-world applications.

Course Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of the Accounting and Finance course, the student will be able to:
