English Test Waiver Eligibility

English test requirements may be waived under the following conditions:

  1. Have completed one academic year of study at a university or college in a country where English is the official language (excluding intensive English language programs), OR
  2. Are enrolled in a U.S. institution and have completed a 100-level English Composition course along with at least 12 credit hours of 100-level courses (this applies only to bachelor’s programs), OR
  3. Citizenship in one of the following countries:
  • Antigua
  • Australia
  • Bahamas
  • Barbados
  • Belize
  • Bermuda
  • Botswana
  • Cameroon
  • Canada
  • Dominica
  • England
  • Fiji
  • Gambia
  • Ghana
  • Grenada
  • Guyana

For admission to degree programs, international students must submit an English test score, depending on their program of choice:

Bachelor’s Degrees

Windsor University recommends the Duolingo English Test for its affordability, convenience, and quick results. Visit the following site for more details.

The test is accepted by all colleges and universities and can be included with your resume/CV if required. Please submit your test scores and chosen program of study to our admissions office at Admission@windsoruniversity.us. For any inquiries, feel free to reach out to the same email address.
