How Our Policies Support You

Every policy on this page applies to all Windsor University students. Please read the ones that apply to your program and refer to them throughout your studies.

Academic Excellence and Institutional Standards

Windsor University applies its academic policies fairly and consistently to every student. Read the Grading Policy, the Attendance and Leave of Absence Policy, the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy and the Academic Integrity and Fraud Policy before your first course. They explain how your work is graded, what progress you must make, how credit from other institutions is reviewed, and how to appeal a decision.

Student Support and Learning Resources

From orientation to graduation, Student Affairs and your instructors advise you on your studies, offer tutoring, and help you stay on track through the Student Retention Program. If something goes wrong, the Student Complaints and Grievances policy explains how to raise a concern and how we respond. The LIRN Online Library and Open Educational Resources support your coursework.

Student Services and Administrative Support

Our team helps you with admission, enrollment, records and transcripts, refunds and graduation certificates. Write to Student Affairs at [email protected] or call +1 202 925 1224, and we reply within one week. The Student Services page lists all the support available to you.

Online Learning and Student Engagement

You study online through the Moodle Student Portal and Microsoft Teams, with live sessions that are recorded so you can watch them later. Regular participation is required: complete at least one academic activity every two weeks, check your University email, and keep your contact details up to date so you receive every notice.
