Program Levels

After choosing the location that suits you, select your program of interest!
Windsor University offers three levels of intensive English programs: basic, intermediate, and advanced English.

  • Basic intensive English: Intensive English program for absolute beginners, no prior knowledge required. Learn simple phrases, grammar, and communication for daily life interactions.
  • Intermediate intensive English: Enhances grammar skills, work and home-related vocabulary, and enables participation in social conversations. It prepares students to read texts on familiar topics and write accurately and cohesively for work or home needs.
  • Advanced intensive English: Speak like native speakers, comprehend complex readings, excel in diverse advanced writing styles for academic/professional contexts. Completion of one elective course required. Students choose from:

    • TOEFL Techniques
    • Advanced Grammar
    • American Idioms
    • Business English
    • Pronunciation & Accent Reduction
    • Public Speaking
    • Project-Based Learning

A placement test will be held if the student needs to know what level suits them.

Steps to take!

To begin the process, email Windsor University’s international student officer, Reham Abbas (Reham.abbas@windsoruniversity.us), the following documents:

  • Valid passport for at least a year
  • Bank statements for the past 3 months proving sufficient funds.
  • If present in the US, US visa and I-94 documents

You’ll be sent an email between 2-5 days all the steps to take and procedures, fees, and answers to any questions students might have. 

The international student advisor will help students through their process, papers, and concerns.
